Alexander Cooke, secondary school English teacher and remote learning lead for Shavington High School explains how his school is recording their Teams lessons to help monitor and mitigate online safety concerns. In order to support a culture of trust in the school these videos are only used for safeguarding purposes, and not to observe or assess teaching – though provided no issues are found they are made available to pupils to help them recap learning or catch up on anything they might have missed.
