Laura Smith, assistant curriculum leader of English at Sandbach High School, says her top piece of advice is to have a go! She urges teachers not to be afraid of trying something new – student are often much more resilient and willing to try new things than we give them credit for. We need to have an honest dialogue that we’re all in the same position – admit that you’re trying something like a new platform and it might not work then have a go – that’s how you get better at remote teaching.
