Maintaining a dialogue with pupils – Elodie Nelson, year 5 teacher

Elodie Nelson, a year 5 teacher and computing subject leader from Julians Primary School, describes how she has been using the chat function in J2E with her class to give feedback in a varied and engaging way. Dojo points have also worked well as a motivator for her pupils, and using the Class Dojo has also helped bring a sense of consistency between in school and home learning. Verbal feedback has been delivered through Zoom conversations, though Elodie has found that these have worked better as a way to facilitate more informal discussions.
