The shift in workload with blended learning – Lucy Huelin, classics teacher

Lucy Huelin, classics teacher at Bootham School, talks about the shift in workload involved in moving to remote or blended learning. “There’s so much ‘other stuff’ to think about as it is so different – photocopying a worksheet or making a PDF won’t do!” She notes that she spent much time in the easter holidays and over the summer creating resources but adds that, while it’s a challenge and increase in workload  now, there will be lots of benefits as once resources have been created once, they will be already there for the next time.
