Elodie Nelson, a year 5 teacher and computing subject leader from Julians Primary School, explains how having multiple teacher in each year groups has enabled her and her colleagues to split the workload associated with planning online learning, as well as the in person teaching that has continued to take place within the school. While teaching from home may not have been ideal, Elodie observes that working in this way brings a range of ideas and approaches to the table. While they create much of their lesson materials themselves, Julians teachers have also made use of lessons from Oak Academy whenthey fit in with the school curriculum.
