Designing online learning

Careful design is often crucial to the short term and longer term success of any learning and teachers through training and experience are often adept at undertaking this individually and collaboratively. During this time of rapid change for teachers, Mark Martin reflects on some of the key factors at play here, some of which are under a teacher’s direct control in structuring a lesson – others may be dependent on schools, student needs and external factors.
